Hi E,

Time for my weekly comment on our common holdings.

Sure is taking VERA a long time to open. Yesterday 2.5 hrs. Today 3.0 and counting. Looks like everyone wants someone else to make the first move.

That double bottom continues to form. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think we will need a close at 7.5 or higher to confirm the double bottom. If we do that then the next resistance will be the 8.5 to 9 area.

One thing that does bothers me is just about every morning someone places 3K shares or so at the previous ask. Looks like distribution to me. This has been going on for some time, even when this stock was at the 6 dollar level. May not mean anything given the low volume, but I think we should take note anyway.

*OT*

I've decided to use this thread to comment on my other holdings. Some of the other threads (namely RMBS and LSI) either have too many hypsters or know-it-alls on board. If they want to see my comments (well let's just say I'm not into the ego thing) they will have to search for them (not difficult). I just don't have the time to respond to every response my post may attract. By the way I do read the PSUN thread. I'm just not into retail stocks. I prefer to invest in stocks that I have some expertise in (hardware and software) and can better evaluate their business and/or products.

LSI - Continues to trend steadily higher. With earnings coming out next month, and with expectations high, I think LSI may have a spurt to the upside either before or after earnings. I will take the opportunity to trade out and re-enter at a lower price. Will let the chart tell me what and when to do it.

RMBS - The long term story continues to look good. I think there are too may expectations associated with the Camino launch. Usage in PCs is important to RMBS but there are many other uses for this technology. Some have equated this to a 0/1 situation. I do not. There are just too many good uses for the technology. And with 90 mil in the bank I don't think they are going to go bankrupt either. But I doubt they get to the high end extreme whatever that is. If they do I will take it. <gg>

I have spent may hours reading up on their technology. I feel I have a good handle on their technology. IMO there are many high volume usage products it will find its way into such as graphic adapters, games, HDTV, Digital TV and embedded applications. High end PC usage will take some time, but will happen. Low end PC usage is subject to the release of a processor like Timna. Maybe late next year. Usage in laptops should also present a good usage for the technology as its narrow bus, high bandwidth and low power features are ideal for use in this environment. Particularly when a something like Timna comes to market.

I like the company but will trade in and out of this one depending on circumstances.

One other note. I got a 100 share allotment of Ariba (ARBA). Now I am awaiting the start of trading. Should be fun. <gg>

Regards,

Jim
