..Bertelsmann Launching Ad Campaign On
DoubleClick

NEW YORK (Reuters) - BOL (www.bol.com), the international
e-commerce unit of German publishing giant Bertelsmann AG, said
Wednesday it is launching a major online advertising campaign in Europe
with DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq:DCLK - news)

It said the agreement with DoubleClick will help promote the 4.5 million book titles BOL offers
throughout Europe. In the second half of the year, BOL will also offer music, and later will add
other media products.

The campaign will initially launch in Germany, Britain, France and the Netherlands, with Spain
joining later.

The cost of the campaign was not disclosed.

The companies said DoubleClick's DART (Dynamic Advertising Reporting and Targeting) would
allow BOL to target local audiences through international advertising, which could include an ad
with a regional offer or adapted language and creative.

New York-based DoubleClick is a leading provider of Internet advertising for online media
companies.

.....................AboveNet, which went public six months ago, had $3.5 million in revenue last year, but is growing rapidly in its core business
of providing high-speed data service for Web sites.

Among its customers are RealNetworks Inc. (Nasdaq:RNWK - news), the leading Internet multimedia broadcaster, and
DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq:DCLK - news), the largest Web advertising firm. Its name, AboveNet, is meant to suggest it is a
higher-speed network that moves data faster than the public Internet.
