Edamo, my issue is, if you want intelligent debate, read and understand your adversary's position fully before engaging. Don't twist words to fit your agenda.

It's clear to me you skim through my posts and latch on to what catches your eye rather than digest the content.

Re: auction....we decided that you jumped in to the thread, not realizing that the discussion in motion was based on off lease units

No edamo, you decided that all on your own.

When I jumped into the auction debate, I fully realized the argument was veering down the path of reselling leased units.

Re-read my response to your post ranting about how asset recovery of leased systems didn't make sense.

My intent and verbiage validate that I was offering a more likely scenario for what would be sold... field failures and E&O. If you believe that I didn't understand the original premise of the debate, then you must believe that I don't read your posts before responding.

Re: artsy....your word...go back to 6/17 "too early for dell to cater to the consumer segment that wants artsy pcs"..

Your words edamo: "meathead ...wrote it off as being desirable only to artists."

My post clearly states that the artistic types would likely be some of the early adopters... your twist became that my position was that ONLY artistic types would EVER buy these new form factors.

Wrote it off? Go back to my post to you on 6/15...

"This is the kind of product that Japan is really interested in right now and ultimately where PC form factors are headed."

Anyway, I'm through playing this round with you. I have five posts for the record on what I believe the issues are from a business, marketing and timing perspective on the all-in-one... none of them indicate that I think the form factor is a passing fad.
