"...practice, practice, practice" Since I was 4 years old -- started with the accordion, which also does not give the left thumb much of a workout. Took accordion lessons off and on for about 6 years. I'm right handed, but I was undefeated in left handed arm wrestling for years thanks to that accordion! Switched to pipe organ and tenor saxophone in jr. high school (but not at the same time) (that is, I did not play them at the same time, but I was taking lessons on both of them in the same time period). Dad had a big organ installed in the den (had to knock out two walls, etc.) The 16' stops on the pedals made the house shake (those are the really low notes). I switched to piano in college. (A piano was something I could fit into an apartment...), and started the other instruments later for fun. I write music, have been published a couple of times and have family in the biz. A cousin owns a gospel publishing and recording company and another relative wrote the theme for the TV program Gunsmoke. Music is in my blood! PCM GO PABN!!!
