I knew Microsoft would get involved with CDNW (see post 1099,https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=9036253) as I'm sure many others did. They want to establish their format as THE FORMAT for pirate proof downloadable music. That's the way the are. I guess the talks with Time Warner fell through. Didn't Microsoft anger Time Warner, Sony and some other Record co's who had been working on a sony/Ibm pirate proof format to be agreed upon and MSFT just went ahead and came out with their own. Anyway any form of an alliance or affiliation with Microsoft is good.
