Tim, I'm speculating that 4rth qtr will be a dissapointment, not due to product offerings but by y2k expenditures by most companies. They said it wasn't an issue earlier, but I feel they are naively setting people up for a big disappointment. Another factor is interest rates. Wage pressure will inevitably fuel inflation, fed will tighten, and mkt will correct, so, will chkp. Taking these factors into account, I feel most have gotten as good as it gets. On the other hand, I wouldn't hold the semi's just yet, its still highly seasonal and a bit of patience might be warrented. I sold AMD at a high and will probably get back into some of these guys in the fall. I'm just monitoring CHKP until roughly late Jan, early Feb.
