Now that I'm home I have a chance to reflect on what a special occasion the trip to Austin was, and how much I appreciate all the effort you folks went to for us, from mailing out maps, to making reservations (dinner, show, and plant tours) to more details than we even know.
Seeing Dell, the man and the company, was exciting, but your heaps of genuine Texan hospitality was what I'll remember most. If you're interested in coming to Ottawa sometime I'd love to return the favour.
Remember we've got the world's longest ice-skating ring, in winter on the Rideau Canal (5 miles). And the longest winter in any Capital, even longer than Moscow. But, Austin has better steaks!
