I understand. We all have our own investing styles and we all have our own risk / tolerance levels. On your concerns.

I'm speculating that 4rth qtr will be a dissapointment, not due to product offerings but by y2k expenditures by most companies .
Not based upon the senior IT professionals @ 2 major co's that I know of. Most large businesses have corrected the problem to a managable level (note the drop off in the Y2K stocks revenues from this, IMRS, KEA, etc.) and have to continue to meet the business needs. They will spend the funds if its in the budget.

Another factor is interest rates. Wage pressure will inevitably fuel inflation, fed will tighten, and mkt will correct, so, will chkp. I agree if the Fed raises again we'll have too strong a $$ which will hurt our manufactures and other countries that have to repay debt in $$. However, also factor in what a tax cut will do with running a surplus and strengthing social security. Bullish for rates long term.

Just my 2 cents and while its prudent to have stop losses to protect your investments we've seen how effective they are with CHKP <gg>.

AS we've seen from NVLS with conservative guidance for the 4th qtr. we'll probably get hammered tomorrow when Gil indicates 3rd qtr will be flat or slightly down with 2nd qtr (everyone forgets the europeans take a month off in the next 6 weeks <gg>).

We'll I'm ready for the ride down but hope it will be a positive cc and we start trading with some of the other high flyers.
