Gustave, I took your post and added to what I had read earlier on your three-part-scenario. Now I would say there is less recreational fantasy and creative effort in it than I had suspected, and more of it is drawn from various sources, your effort being mainly combinatorial, not creative. It has the advantage of giving more of the responsibility to sources, and is no less work either.

Now that I have learned about several points I didn't ever hear mentioned before (among those the existence and occupation of B.Denard), and given the breadth of information material backing your idea up, I feel I hardly CAN discuss upon it. It may just be truth.
OTOH it may also well be that some islamistic or other culturally or politically founded anti-American, anti-Western or anti-Imperialistic group was working that things out. I think your argument that islamistic groups "don't work that way" is not totally conclusive. These habits may be changed for one strike, and even after evaluation the group responsible could come to the conclusion that in future it won't work that way again.

To open another channel for discussion: why aren't the Chinese also a candidate (when the French are one, and the Mossad is a candidate for helping or knowing aforehand at least) ? They were also mentioned in the Mobutu affair's recounts as a player on that scene. (Plus your American listeners would more likely have believed you.)

And why was the initial Coca-Colagata scandal of a different origin than the current happenings?
