Mr. Buckley, I'm sincerely flattered to be quoted by you. This aol/msft battle over instant messaging may be the first salvo in their long anticipated war. The next canon ball may well be aol substituting navigator for IE as the integrated browser in their software. I'm not predicting a victor, but since I felt the fundamentals of aol's business were changing for the worse (free isps, $400 rebates for 3 year msn contracts, etc.), I sold my position in them last week at 124. This is the first time I "timed" an exit so well; Sir Dancelot will be proud of me <g>.
