Bux,
so when is Qualcomm going to be the NEW COMPANY, or do we long term QC investors have to look else where?
A few years ago, there was a forum hosted by Bill Frezza and frequented by the likes of Ira, Maurice, Merryman, Chris Reeder etc, debating how CDMA defies the law of physics <ggg>.
Not being an engineer myself, it is my understanding that wireless will NEVER be superior to some type of wired system, such as fibre optics. Fortunately, the desire to be mobile gives CDMA a huge market.
Regardless of what this device may be, is it safe to assume that we will have a lightning speed device at home (and/or office) and a wireless device that we can synchronize at a continuous basis?
Is it premature to think about the role that QC will play in this arena?
I opine that without some quantum leap, QC is fully valued as a handset, ASICs and royalty company. Not that it will not continue to reward investors, just that it will not be in the same magnitude as it did so far this year.
At what point, if ever, should the New Qualcomm be focused in the same manner as this thread below?
