tom, dave---i just can't imagine in todays society and environment of technology, that new investors coming into the market are doing it with full service brokers. what's keeping these guys afloat? how do they keep expanding? has their been any research that has tracked all the new money that has come into the market in the past 2 or 5 years, how much of that has gone to on-line brokers or discount brokers versus going to the big full service houses? as i've mentioned before, some of my best friends are brokers, but i wouldn't let my daughter marry one! sk
