Shucks, guys. It's so nice to be appreciated. I'm glad that particular post of mine struck a chord.

But hey, this is the Joel Sternberg thread. We should be talking about him!

And speaking of Joel, here's an observation about our thread-bears in general. They all seem to complain about the negative responses they get. And, indeed, things do get personal too often in the Big Thread.

But no Bull has ever been awarded his or her own thread here.

Heck, Joel has at least two now! And most of the posts in this thread are either downright complimentary or at least grudgingly appreciative. So he shouldn't complain.
