GZ: I still am looking for the bottom from 8/19 to 8/23. If we break the support here, I think we will get the selling climax and firm bottom I would like to see. I would hate to see the INDU apex broken but it may need to happen. On the other hand, I firmly believe in Edson Gould's rule of three on rate increases. The Greenspeaker has a good opportunity for blunder here. If he raises rates in August and again in October, he will have done it three times. I would anticipate a bear market beginning in January 2000 in that event. So much for the future. When we reach the bottom, I just hope I know it when I see it.
