None of my brokers recommended Intel at 140+ but you have a good point. The guy from Gaines Berland who called me on LEH said it was a must buy because of a takeover play within the next 3 weeks....that was 7 weeks ago. This guy told me that he had information that "of course he couldn't divulge because of the SEC" but since he wanted to earn my business, I could almost bank the fact that this was going through. If it didn't, I wouldn't have to use him again. DUH!!! Anyway, our point really was to share how little sense these guys make on their recommendations and perhaps save the naive investor a costly lesson. Chip PS Sorry it took so long to respond to you..as long as I'm on the subject of costly, I just returned this morning from a week in Maui. A great place but very costly.
