There is a 100 mile wide or so band of soil from Red River south down through Texas ... geological term is "Houston Clay" or so I recall .... shifts like the dickens .... All Realtors whom I know have a rubber stamp, along with print in escrow contract, closing contract, etc .... WARNING ---- " no warranty is expressed or implied concerning shifting or unsettled foundations " just a fact of life here, kinda like the tornados .... and the heat ...... wouldn't trade it for anywhere I've been tho ...... ggggg
