Tom: Agree with you in your analysis of key Sun strengths. My selling point for SUNW is never - if anyone sells it, it will be my children. And don't forget the innovation and cutting edge technologies which are Sun's hallmarks, such a Java, and even more interesting perhaps, Jini. And this is even though the primary business of Sun is selling servers and related software and services for enterprise and internet use. Think SUNW is the most solid of my tech holdings, with the major exception of QCOM.

But my question to Mike Buckley who is considered "Merlin" for his wisdom (or maybe other qualities since nothing was specified exactly) on the G&W thread and is the acknowledged Gorilla Game guru who, unlike most gurus, has common sense and writes in plain English, how do companies like Sun Micro (or GE or IBM or even LU or NT) which are clearly excellent investments but are broad in there coverage - i.e. cover many "niches" for potential gorilladom within them, what is a practical sensible way to categorize them in GG terms. Chaz a.k.a. Cha2
