Steve and Jack were two friends who loved baseball. They played in the
little leagues, the minor leagues, and finally the major leagues.
One day Jack said, "Hey, you know what? I wonder if there's baseball in
heaven..."
Steve said, "Yeah! I say whoever gets to heaven first will tell the
other if there is or not!"
So, as the years progressed and they both got older, they began to
wonder who would go first.
Finally, Steve came down with cancer at 63 years old. After he died,
Jack began to wonder if he would ever find out if there was baseball in
heaven.
Finally, Steve appeared to Jack and said, "I've got some good news and
some bad news. The good news is that there is baseball in heaven.
Jack replied, "That is a great, that is so great, but Steve, what's the bad
news?"
"The bad news is you're pitching up here next Tuesday." |
