The Market
**********

Jim, contrary to general opinion, I don't think that we're going to see the Fed raise interest rates next week. The market has already factored in the hike and we would probably get a rally if in fact the Fed does raise.

The opposite will occur if no action is taken, specifically if the rate is not increased, but the Fed bias is changed.

Meanwhile, there is still plenty to be optimistic about. Did you read First Call's estimated operating profits for the S & P 500? A predicted 22% increase for the next quarter!!!!! The largest quarterly increase in five years.

The bull market does not appear to be dead just yet.
