hi Kerry, i also did your: "Peter Lynch Acid Test."

We have two types of pickles in the 'frig and both are VLASIC.

There are some reasons why this does not make me run out and buy the stock:

1: Just like you said: there in back... was a jar of pickles... sure enough, it was VLASIC!!! Neither one of us knew (or cared) what brand of pickles we eat: I would guess "mid price" pickles is fine.

2: Buy many pickles? like you said: I scraped off all of the old salt from the label... We have two types: dill speres (put them on the plate next to food) and sliced dill (put them in with food). The four people in my family (and our guest) eat less than 4 jars of pickles per year.

I'm not saying that this is not a good investment (at this or a lower price), just that eh, well, I think there might be 8 or 9 hundred other stocks that I might buy first.
