Hmmmm.....

Outside Months become Reversals when an established trend is changed on the close....August 1982 is a perfect example.

However some Outside Months by closing with the trend or in keeping with it have also produced market events....as with the combination in 11/83 and 1/84 which took 14 months to retrace to old highs.

The combination in 97 on that chart link is also interesting...a harbinger of change?
This one is worth watching.
