Phone call with IR...
I called Frank Giannazzo from IR today and had an encouraging chat with him re: MJXC's short and long-term future. Here is some of what we chatted about:
#1 Financials: 1st and 2nd quarters out maybe next week, fully audited financials out next 60 days.
#2 DOT approval: Asked him if they were in complete compliance with DOT requirements, his answer was "They've passed every test and requirement the Feds have put to them"...take that for what it's worth, I couldn't get a strong feel for where they were at in the process of actually being certified or approved, in an official sense, by the DOT.
#3 Contracts: I asked if there were any tangiable contracts with bus manufactures / retrofitting operations in process of negotiations..was told that there should be some within next 90 days...my feeling: no ink is drying just yet, but look at where they are taking this product from a PR vane, I'm very confident they WILL have large yellow busses beating a path to their coorporate doors soon!
#4 O/S and float: Gave me a float of 8 Million, emphatic that 4M is in "safe hands" and stressed to me that he himself owns shares. Did not get O/S from him. Both the modular building and Safety bar componets have acquired outside financing, 6M and 1.5M respectively, no share dilution is forseen in future.
#5 Frank pointed out that Majestic is undertaking a huge PR campaign over the next 3-4 weeks which should include interviews / exposes with the likes of 60 minutes, 20/20, etc. He threw out those exact names, but I doubt that anything is set in stone just yet...we'll see.
I didn't ask for any price predictions, but just told him that I noticed it was hovering over it's 52 wk low, and his response was "in 6 weeks, you won't be able to touch this stock for under a few bucks"...pretty speculative at the least, but I'll say this much, look at the charts...where else can it go from here??
In all, Mr. Giannazzo was very pleasent and enthusiastic in re: to MJXC, and I believe he was being sincere with his projections...time will tell. Feel free to call him at 1-800-546-7950 X123. I'm in at .34, will add if any dips occurr, doubt they will though. Good luck all.
