20+ off the top of my head these are stocks you might have been better off just buying and never selling a share in past 5 years vs. 50% cash to 10/10 buy/sell safe.

MSFT, DELL, AOL, EMC, CSCO, PMCS, AMGN, SCH, CMGI, YHOO, AMZN, NTAP, QLGC, QCOM, SUNW, VRTS, LGTO, RFMD, TQNT, ADLAC, TXCC, VTSS, AMCC, HIFN, BRCM, JDSU. (even HWP might apply).

Remember I'm just selecting stocks that have appreciated several hundred to over 1000 percent in last 3-5 years (shorter period used for newer stocks). DELL is probably going to fall out of the list. If you started AIM'ing these stocks when they were very low priced and sold into the upward swing, I think without Vealies, you would have an inferior return using AIM.

Notice I would not include AMKR, SLR, JBL and some of the others which tend to be a bit cyclical.

Bernie, believe me they are out there, you just have to look. You are correct however in narrowing the percentage down to perhaps 2% which are not suitable using the "straight up" criteria.

PS, most of the I suggestions I make on this thread are AIM'ble
