Hi Bernie, VTSS was one of the toughest challenges I've had with AIM. It rose so rapidly and for such a long time with breaks that I was beginning to wonder if I'd EVER get a chance to spend some of the wonderful cash I was hoarding for it!

As it turned out, AIM timed its small purchases very well along the way by clipping the bottoms very nicely. When one's cost is a buck and a half, it takes a strong stomach to do any buying back with the current price at $18!!! This could be called "averaging up!!!" Because of the near vertical ascent every time AIM called for a buy, it was at a new, higher threshold.

Add to that the fact that the P/E and other usual measurables were all whacky except if one looked out into the future quite a distance, it took more nerve to follow AIM's buy market orders than its sell signals. AIM's done a good job along the way of buying and, with "vealies" it has done a good job of conserving the equity as well. I just wish I could find a dozen companies like it!!

Best regards, Tom
