Hi Sanjay:

I am 70% invested in (net) equities. I am just holding 30% for shopping later in the year. I do think there will be some buying opportunities in the next 6 weeks and December almost always has portfolio and tax juggling going on. You mention Monday, I assume you mean Tuesday, and I wonder if you believe the rally from Friday will keep on going. I want it to be that way too.

I agree with most of your postulates. However, I do not believe there will be any more rate hikes this year. You are absolutely right-on when you point out the VC effect on net companies. Which brings us full circle to the original question and answer. Your statement is risky but well thought out. Cramer has written about the synergies of stocks and bonds. Unless you have a Cramer aversion, I find his columns to be remarkably on target. Are you aware that Greenspan has all of his investments in treasuries?

I suspect the weak dollar is going to cause the most trouble.

P.S. I wouldn't touch a bond with a 10 foot pole. I like returns in the 100 percentile range ;-) DE
