Hi Steve and Larry, Larry, Nice move on QQQ.

QQQ has the advantage of trading just like any other stock. So you can use GTC orders bracketing both sides of the current price. With a discount broker as your guide, this should be a very inexpensive trader.

UOPIX is almost twice the BETA, so it potentially can be more lucrative to trade. However, being a "regular" mutual fund, there's no way to be as low key as using GTC orders. You have to review the status of the N-100 near the end of the day if you are near a trade and make a decision to call and place your order. Bernie G and Kathy A both deal directly with the fund and find it very easy to do. They recommend calling 10 minutes before the "close" at 3:00 PM Eastern time. If you buy this one through a brokerage, you'll have to follow whatever their procedure is and also probably pay a "fee."

So, there's a trade-off between the convenience and the excitement!

Larry, Are you using your existing AIM accounts as "cash cows" to garner more money for investing? This is what is done by some in place of "vealies." If one reaches a point of having excess overall cash reserve then he/she will syphon off the excess and start a new investment. Jeff Weber does this. Good method of fleshing out a portfolio.

Best regards, Tom
