Of course, in this case it also turns out DiabetiSweet is hardly a new product; it's been around for some time.
What today's press release is really trumpeting isn't DiabetiSweet per se, but the "Measure for Measure"
aspect of the product
-- which simply means diabetic cooks can use one cup of the sweetener instead of one
cup of sugar for easier use in the kitchen.

That's pretty neat, sure.

But I have a difficult time believing that investors were willing to boost this company's market capitalization by
as much as 90% midday based on the news that a teaspoon, to a diabetic, is still a teaspoon.
