Jim, maybe your take on the G7 meeting was what SHOULD have happened. We both know how often the reasonable thing doesn't occur. That's why I'm amused by investors who flock to a guru who has just been correct in a prediction. The next one may be wrong. <g> It's a bit like asking a lottery winner for advice how to win the lottery. But the PnF market indicators are still negative [there's a built-in lag] and have not given the all clear signal to buy. That won't happen for weeks IMO. The market indicators are the best feature of PnF [Point and Figure] TA. Paul V. posts them weekly here Message 11330115 He marks the indicators on the RH side. Bullish percent is just the % of stocks on a buy signal. I've charted the numbers together since May to make them a bit more relevant. Let me know if you want more info on this. Of course even in this market some stocks go up, but the odds are not in favor of going long. The momentum investors are exempt from all of these cautions. Gottfried
