Gold will definitely not be going straight up. the 294-97 area will be a big resistance zone.

Dec Gold has made a price top at the start of Oct in the 1990's and has topped in mid Oct on average, if we take an average of the years going back to 1976.

the 1990's rallies have been a two week trading rally starting in mid Sept while, the longer term seasons have a trading rally from the 2nd week of Aug. until mid Oct.

I've been meaning to ask if the Strong crude seasonals that have had crude strongly rising from the first week of July to Oct 9th, influenced your thinking in terms of keeping you long the past few months??
