George, I would never presume to answer for Opal, but I think even if Xoma had never existed this would still be a great idea for a thread. I would enjoy hearing how other persons mitigate their risk when investing in biotechs. I proposed one strategy in my first post and I wouldn't necessarily be surprised if others take issue with it nor would I be surprised if they take issue with my specific picks. This is a great forum for discussing the merits (or lack thereof) of any biotech company. Ed
