Bill, the more I look over the services part of the website:

it appears that they're somehow getting "The Works" plan on all their incoming lines. No big deal since it's just the total signalling package but it seems to me that unless they've struck a deal with the telco the home user's line would have to have call forwarding authorized.

As to the phones in the other rooms on the same line I think I can safely say that they won't work any differently, it would just be the phone that's plugged into your PC that could be used. THis either calls for a long cord or at least two phone lines but as mentioned in the original PR most people still have problems with two lines in the home that the product would help to solve.
