Seems to me that where the WCOM stock price heads in the short to intermediate term will depend upon the ability of Ebbers & Co. to "sell" this marriage to wall street. Where and how much extra revenue will the synergies create, and exactly how much earnings dilution will be exacted upon shareholders are two questions I am anxious to have answered. Long term, this appears to be the right move, but was it done at a too high a price? In the very short term (today) we got our answer as to the direction of the price of this stock.
