Ha ha! Good one.

I once accidentally "diversified" into a bankrupt horse racing track that had traded the amount I bought in maybe the previous 2 months. Before I knew what had happened, then read up on a few posts to find out what I'd bought, some rumor came out that they were going to be bought out and begin feeding video to internet gamblers and the thing was up 50-70% ... something huge like that. Sold right away. LUCKY!

Of course, when I've emailed friends to look into a stock and got dyslexic on the ticker ... that hasn't always worked out so well.

Call from friend : "How come XXYZ is going down so fast?"
Boddington : "Why would you buy that POS ...? ... oh, I DID?!!"

What's that called?
