Jack...aaii has a software program called Stock Investor that has a couple of canned screens based on a book about Buffett.."Buffetology"...i ran the two screen today and here is what i got: HISTORICAL EPS GROWTH SCREEN = "30 STOCKS"...ADCT,ANCT, ASTE, BBBY, BBY BKE, CHRZ, DCO, ELRC, EXPD, HERBA....on 2nd screen SUSTAINABLE GROWTH ="19 STOCKS"...ANLT, BBBY, BKE, CHRZ, DCO, ELRC, HERBA, JKHY.... i have looked at these sometimes but have never acted on any...the s/w program comes with a number of can screens based on articles from the aaii journal about various gurus ie buffett, weiss,dreman, fisher, graham, lynch, murphy, o'neil, o'shaughnessy, t rowe price, wanger...beside the canned screens you can write your own with about 60+ variables...i tried one for aim but have found tom's suggestion of using valueline works better for finding aim stocks...bj |
