I entered ZIXI a couple days ago; short at 28 5/8.

I have a very hard time believing Microsoft would be interested in ZIXI. Microsoft already has a competing product in the market, why would they buy a vaporware product? Further, even if they did like the ZIXI products, it's hard to believe they would buy into ZIXI at its current valuations. Instead, why not just get there own capable programmers to knock at a similar product and then crush ZIXI using their considerable market presence and OS dominance? After all, one of the speakers at the ZIXI annual meeting conceded that the core algorithms in the ZIXI products were merely "textbook algorithms."

Someone on the yahoo board posted that a brokerage firm has recently started pushing ZIXI. I find this explanation for ZIXI's rise to be much more tenable than a MSFT buyout.
