I passed the question on to Noam, who responded (an excerpt):

"We have close to 100 people in North America in pre-and post-sales support. We derive a certain portion of our revenue from support contracts (more than 5% of our networking sales, in the US). We provide seven different support options, from Web Based, all the way up to 7 by 24 (365 days a year), and on-site assistance.

Kaka on Yahoo! found these today (which I don't remember being there before either - and I look at everything). The PDF document off the first link is dated 9/99, so these are very recent. I don't think it is just coincidence that these appear on the website now.

AdvantEdge Service and Support Programs. This describes those 7 support options in detail. Very nicely done. The PDF document says 25% of NBase-Xyplex staff is devoted to support. That is great!
