That's one thing I've been wondering about. Credibility is, doubtless, a key issue here, with potentially billions of dollars of transactions going through the ZixCharge system.
What I want to know, Rick, is where exactly Zixit gets its credibility from. It's not as if Zixit has a long, established track record in the field; twelve months ago, their field was recording tracks.
To put it another way, what is going to lead paranoid consumers to trust their vital financial data to a company that a) they've never heard of before, b) consists of fifteen employees, c) is run out of a single office fifteen floors above a shopping mall, and d) is on its third business plan in 21 months?
Let's not be silly here, Kevin. If Cook can rent videos, he automatically has credibility from major institutions with regards to securely processing hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions. |
