I'm not really suggesting 'removing' price, just that time can be traded without looking at the price... but price cannot be traded without looking at the time..... here's a simple example: how many times has the market moved above and below any specific price but buying or selling that price was no more than a random guess in no man's land? That's because it was not time for that price to be traded as support or resistance..... I don't know if I'm making any sense to you..... at the most opportune time, the price is then ready to be bought or sold with much less risk..... the important variable here is not price, but time.....
