RWS,

When I first started to plot out these TP's on a regular basis I added the days back in order to seek that very answer. Does duration increase the power of the move and/or the strength of effect?

I have not taken the time to collate the percentages or probability of this information. But I have recorded the movement and the extension of the point move. Maybe shortly I'll take the time to sift through one an'a half years plus data and ask an excel/accounting expert to work out the math?

I can say this......I've seen 3 day moves do the same as 16 and I've seen daily due dates back 21 days do the same as 60 minute 6 day TP's. GZ called a TP that was weeks back that turned a whole market for 500 points down. I've seen all of them do absolutely "nothing."

The TP's are an "opportunity window"......it is better to view them simply as a potential time for movement.
As to measuring the effects...that has yet to be done by "moi."

Have a Great Weekend,

Chip
