Phil, I did view the Vocaltec booth. I was trying to avoid mentioning that, but seeing that you asked.......They were stuck in a corner of PSINet's booth. They had one table with one computer. Several boxes of IPhone were on the table. There wasn't even a sign, that I could find, indicating who they were. No promotional material was available other than Vocaltec business cards. They had ver 4.0 running and it did seem to be working well. They were scrolling through the list of on-line people and clicking on at random, connecting with various people.

When I was there I only saw a couple of people around the table. The lack of traffic I am sure was due to the "corner" spot and their not having a visible sign or something announcing to the public who they were.

By your standards maybe this is good marketing. My experience with trade shows would rather have an impressive "eye-catching" booth like Camelot did.

Sorry, but I couldn't find Quarterdeck. I tried and couldn't find them in the directory. Maybe they were sharing a booth with somebody else too. I really don't know. It was a pretty big show covering several buildings, so I could of missed them somehow.

Tim
