Hi,
Newport will accurately tell you what you % or $ gain is but it will not take into consideration the commissions or taxes unless you give it that information. Zero cash will have no effect on Newport's buy and sell recommendations. However if you have zero cash you will not be able to buy when Newport gives you a buy signal. When you get a sell signal Newport will add the results of the sale to your Cash Reserve only if you execute the trade. Hope this helps.
