Hi Rob, Keith, etc, I don't know the total numbers of readers out there using AIM, but it's interesting to note that almost all the orders that Bob Norman at Newport gets are from people from whom I've never had any correspondence!

The weekly newsletter gets about 300 "hits" a week. There certainly aren't 300 of us posting here all the time! Heck if that were so, I'd have run out of "Secret AIM Society" gifts a long time ago. (PS: Did yours arrive yet, Rob?)

What's been very pleasant is that the email I do get is very good quality. Good questions, comments etc. I'm always amazed to see the various ways AIM's deployed and the vast array of investment ideas that people use!

As far as choosing stocks for AIM as your "lurker" friend asked, my main point of interest is in finding long term potential. AIM will handle the bumps along the way, but we still would like to have good quality in our investments.

There are many more cyclical growth and cyclical stocks around than there are "Next Year's Winner!" and AIM does beautifully with them. So, it's not nearly as important to pick the next winner as it is a stock that's going be there at the "finish!" Of course it's alway nice to finish on the same lap as the winner!

Best regards, Tom
