My favorite twist on the Awards is the guy who ended up shooting his gonads off. He didn't die, but the line does stop at that point, eh? I heard a similar story today from a RI radio station while I was driving to work. A guy was trying to commit suicide, had the gun propped up somehow on a bookcase and tried to shoot himself in the head. Well he shot his unit off. When He called for assistance he told the cops that a burglar had shot him. So, in addition to whatever troubles he had to consider suicide, he is being charged with filing a false criminal report and illegal discharge of a firearm (not to mention some minor weight loss). I know it's awful, but I couldn't stop laughing. Is this the same story you heard, or is there a pack of these dudes out there?
