The stock close up a mere 9/16 on a buyout rumor that was supposedly the talk of the entire brokerage industry including all the trading floors? Hell - the NASDAQ doesn't even have a trading floor. I'm just saying that if it happened it was obviously a pretty ignored non-event and I think the importance they're trying to place on it is a joke. So they close with that "valuable lesson" - right - the stock moved so little that about the only ones that made anything that day were the daytraders that started it.
