I've been playing around with one of these "virtual mall"
"affiliate"
build in an afternoon sites,,,,,
and using my site as an example,
i've had about 95,000 Hits in the last 5 months,
and assuming a click thru rate of about 3 percent,
if they pay you 3 cents per click-through,
that give you a whopping 85 dollars on the 2850
click-throughs that you generate,
now assuming you do a million hits in a year,
and have a 3 percent click through,
30 K click throughs at 5 cents a pop
(which is high end real estate,)
would give you a whopping 1500 dollars,
that doesn't even pay the light bill....
