Grubbing = Getting an interesting or significant post number, be it an ordinal intra-thread number or a global reply number. There are many who grab minor grubs here and there, such as post #1984 in the "Grubber's Trophy Case" thread, palindrome grubs, poker hands, and other lesser ones. The elderly man says "well, tell me the bad news first" The doctor says "you have cancer" "whoa..." says the old man. "well what's the worse news" "you have Alzheimer's disease" says the doctor. "whoa..." says the old man "well, it could be worse, I could have cancer"
