I did some checking and this stock has a suspicious odor to it.

First of all, there don't seem to be any SEC filings for this company, so people have no way of knowing if it's for real or just another penny stock hype job, since they can't look at financial reports for EBAS.

Second, the company has apparently only been a computer company since June 1999 -- prior to that it was apparently some sort of oil company. Take a look at this link:

That link shows that at the beginning of June, the company changed both its name and ticker symbol. They went from Norske Energy Corp. (OTC BB: NRSK) to ebaseOne Corp. (OTC BB: EBAS). I think that they are probably the same Norske Energy Corp. that was supposedly doing some sort of oil exploration in the Komi Republic in Russia in February 1998. More details can be found at:

Somehow, I don't think anyone can become a major player in the software industry 5 months after they were an oil company.
