B: ebaseOne and Websense Join Forces to Manage Corporate Internet Access -- A
$2.5 Billion Industry by 2004

HOUSTON, Jul 27, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- ebaseOne
Corporation (OTC BB:EBAS), a rapidly growing Houston-based Application
Service Provider (ASP) and Websense Inc., the leader in Internet access
management systems, announced today a partnership to deliver a managed
service that monitors and enforces Internet usage policies throughout
corporate enterprises.

Websense Enterprise is a sophisticated Internet access management
system that enables corporations, schools and other organizations to
monitor, report and manage traffic traveling from their internal
network to the Internet. Websense's solutions will enable ebaseOne's
customers to control their network bandwidth consumption, increase
employee productivity and reduce legal liability associated with
undesirable Internet content.

"Corporations lose millions of dollars every year due to inappropriate
Internet usage. Productivity losses are reaching into the hundred
millions of dollars per year in U.S. companies alone," said John
Carrington, president and CEO of Websense.

In fact, a widely reported business survey last year showed that 72
percent of Internet users said they had visited online "smut sites"
during business hours. In addition to lost productivity, Internet abuse
also risks company assets, increases potential liability exposure and
jeopardizes network security. Employees can sue their employers after
having felt offended by material their coworkers have downloaded or
printed from the Web.

To prevent the Internet from burdening employers, most companies are
implementing Internet access policies and implementing Internet access
management systems. According to Mountain View, Calif.-based analyst
firm Frost & Sullivan, Internet access management will be a $2.5
billion industry by the year 2004.

"Websense will be one of ebaseOne's core technologies and represents a
very important component for our customer's network infrastructure.
Apart from the mission critical applications being delivered by
ebaseOne, we feel that best-of-breed systems such as Websense, are
critical as we strive to provide a complete mid-market solution.
EbaseOne is focusing not only on the delivery of technology but the
productivity and streamlined processes expected to bederived from it,"
says John Frazier, CEO and president of ebaseOne Corporation.

Websense Enterprise will become one of ebaseOne's hosted applications
for core technologies. ebaseOne is building a state-of-the-art
Enterprise Application Center to host comprehensive and integrated
pre-packaged software solutions, bundled with systems experts, best
practices training and extraordinary customer services. ebaseOne's
customers will be charged a flat monthly fee to access and run a
variety of applications over the Internet.

Websense is one of ebaseOne's first software partners. However,
ebaseOne is currently forming significant subscription-based
partnerships with all of the providers of the technology required to
support this model. Under the subscription model, ebaseOne pays its
partners a monthly fee for the usage of its software as opposed to a
one-time up-front fee. ebaseOne expects all majorsubscription
agreements to be in place within the next 60 days.

About the Application Service Provider industry

The ASP industry has been compared to the Internet Service Provider
(ISP) industry in the early 1990's. Its growth is expected to explode
within the next three years. According to International Data Corp.,
