Hi Guys,
Well, it's been a hectic 3 weeks at Stocksystem, and no, I haven't been vacationing in Hawaii, swillin' brewskis watchin football, fishing, or even following my own stocks as close as I should (though sunw seems to take care of itself), I have been spending every waking moment, except for the 8-5 M-F real job, building some new AIM software, the PCA4. This required re-doing 3 or 4 websites ranging from 20-50 pages each, (by the way, anyone who knows me well, knows all the HTML is hand-written,), writing a 20-page Manual, (still in progress), and building 20 or so new PCA examples, (ha ha...I may be banned from some circles for the heresy of optimizing MSFT, INTC, DELL, LU, AOL,ORCL, and others), but they are pretty cool to look at! Sorry @ th run-on sentence, time is tight....did I leave anything out? Ohh yea, how many PCA user's did I interact with this month?....geez, add a few new intriguing countries to the list and some guy from every company you have ever heard of.
Anyway, on our way to PCA2000, we got restless waiting on our part-time C++ programer to get the thing wrapped up. So, like the incessant tinkerers Doug and I are, we started fooling around in Excel again (will we never learn?. Actually, I owe a debt of gratitude to Jack J. here. He had the original idea that made me unlock my spreadsheet to add a cool feature, it was all uphill from there! Thanks also to go out to one of our users that knew a little more about VB than we did, and the beta testers that have been very quiet about problems. Whew!, threw the whole thing together in just about 2 1/2 weeks!
Continuing.....it would take a novel to say everything i have in my head here, so I will try to take it one step at a time and elaborate on many things in the future. For now, we plan to send an email to each and every single investor, in 40 countries, all 50 states, who ever bought PCA, and give them a FREE Upgrade (Download Only Please). I shudder to think of the ramifications of this stunt on my precious time! ha ha...no seriously, I appreciate each and every PCA user, and only wish I could chat with each in person. I've met some good friends and interesting people this past year. Maybe someday, I'll write a book....Everyone please be patient, I gave Doug the list today. Hope the upgrades don't crash the server!
At This point, for easy navigation maybe I should put up a few links.

stocksystem.com A couple of my favorites and a good starting point. (go easy on me...the whole website thing is an ongoing process)
We also built a free, fully functioning, trial version of PCA4, which anyone in the world can download and take for a test-drive. stocksystem.com (Bernie may never speak to me again)
How bout that AIM Convention? Set in stone for us. Viva Las Vegas! I won a jackpot last time I was there! Great job on the page Tom. Looking forward to seeing a few of you in Orlando soon too. I'll be the guy without the booth passing out diskettes like candy with the suit on that says "buy from the scared, sell to the greedy" embriodered on the back.
Ummm, shifting gears, NO, it don't pull vealies, ya can't "screw with" the Port. Control, and it don't have 10% of the bells and whistles we're gonna have someday, but it's still fun-as hell. In fact, it's a blast. 1-click AIM simulation!, ha! ya gotta be kiddin me, this thing is cool! It's kinda addicting, and when I start entering negative resistances, all kinds of unexplainable things happen. (don't try this at home kids, it may be "voodoo mathematics", or some brilliant evolutional occurance that only Jack P. could understand. the jury is still out on the "optimization" of the "adjustable parameters". Heck, I've been so busy I've bareley had time to play!
Anyway, I better stop for now, the screens getting fuzzy, and I'm rambling. I want everyone here to know that I read every post, and I've been with here with y'all in spirit these past couple weeks. It's way past my bedtime, and tomorrow's gonna be a busy day.
I'm going to visit my parents for Thanksgiving in a couple days, and I anticipate having quite a bit of spare time to correspond with all you good friends, fine folks, and aspiring investors. That's actually the fun part, and I really need a break from the day job.
Best Wishes to Everyone! I sincerely hope that everyone who reads this post has a good Thanksgiving. Remember, friends, family, and time are much more important than money, but when investing's your hobby, it ranks right up there!
Back from Cyberspace shortly...until then, may your stocks soar! |\/\/\/| | | | | | (o)(o) C __} | ,__| | / { D1 } _____\
