Here's a real tragedy:

An old lady and an old man present themselves before the judge. "What can I do for you?" says the Judge.
"We want a divorce" replies the old gal.
"Well, I guess it's legal but aren't you pretty old for that?" "How old are you?" She answers that he's 95 and she's 89.
"Why in the world did you wait so long?" says the Judge.
She answers: "We wanted to wait until all the children died."
